OF THE
HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION
December 10, 1980
The meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Peltier at 8:04 PM.
PRESENT: Peloquin, Greger, McAllister, Peltier
ABSENT: Hanson and Lorch
Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peloquin, to approve the minutes
of November 12, 1980, after the following correction has been made:
Page 1 - Greger was present at the meeting and arrived at 8:05 PM.
THOMAS CLARK - LAND DIVISION
Mr. Clark is proposing the division of 30 acres into 3 10 acre parcels.
(HANSON ARRIVED AT 8:06 PM). The land meets the minimum zoning requirements
and has the necessary frontage on a public road. A Minor Subdivision has
previously been granted on a portion of Mr. Clark's property, and proof of
ownership for the entire parcel was submitted at that time.
Motion made by McAllister, Seconded by Greger, to recommend that the City
Council approve the Land Division for Thomas Clark, as per submitted Certi-
ficate of Survey.
All aye. Motion Carried.
MISCELLANEOUS
Motion made by Peltier, seconded by McAllister, to cancel the Planning
Commission meeting of December 24, 1980.
All aye. Motion Carried.
Mr. George Knutson, 10051 Kerry Court, was present, and stated his interest in
filling one of the two vacancies on the Planning Commission.
Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Peltier, that the Planning Commission
submit the following names for their consideration in filling the two vancies
on the Planning Commission:
1. Mark Kennedy - 9686 152nd Street North
2. Leonard Schoeller - 5399 145th Street North
3. Ann Fashingbauer - 12564 Goodview Avenue North
4. George Knutson - 10051 Kerry Court

Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peltier, to recommend that the City
Council establish a policy for all future Land Divisions that a satisfactory
percolation test must be submitted along with the Certificate of Survey and
proof of ownership, prior to the granting of any Land Division.
All aye. Motion Carried.
Motion made by. , seconded by McAllister, that as a matter of Planning
Commission policy, the Chairperson designate a member of the Planning Commission
to attend City Council meetings as he/she feels necessary. This representative
will act only as a liaison between the Planning Commission and the City Council
to provide better communications between the two bodies.
All aye. Motion Carried.
Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Hanson, to adjourn at 9:08 PM.
