HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION
January 28, 1981
The meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Theodora Peltier at 8:04 P;.
PRESENT: Hanson, Greger, Lorch, Fa:ihingbauer, Knuteson, Peltier
ABSENT: Peloquin
Motion made by Greger, seconded by Lorch, to approve the minutes of
January 14, 1981, as submitted.
All aye. Motion Carried.
BRUCE MOGREN - DISC ONLY OF DIVISION OF LAND ALONG 165TH
Mr. Mogren, representing Bob and Jim Dotte, owners of 39 acres in Section 8,
stated that the Dottes' are interested in selling their property. The lana
is zoned Conservancy, and there was talk about dividing the 39 acres into
four (4) building sites. There have been no percolation tests taken at this
time, and it was not clear as to exactly how they planned on dividing, tht3 lan..
There is presently a one (1) acre parcel of record located on one of the
and that will be tied in with a larger lot. Hogren was informed that it' :,ill
was to be used to accommodate an on-site septic system, it would have

RICHAPD VAIL - 3USDIVISION
The public hearing to consider the request of Richard Vail for subdivision was
1'1�01.ened at 9:02 PM. The Planning Commission again reviewed the. preliminary
;.lan with the developer. Attorney Johnson's letter, of' 4/29/80, states that
the setback from Egg Lake would be 100'. Mrs. Peltier thought that she had
been informed that the city could abide by the DNR regulations which are more
restrictive. There was discussion regarding the elimination of the cul -df s,,+c
and the continuation of the road to 141st Street. Vail stated that Friend
and Salokar were not interested in having anything to do with a new road.
(PELOQUIN ARRIVED AT 9:35 PM). The Planning Commission keFt Mr. Vail informed
as to what took place at their meeting of 1/22/81. Lorch stated that each
individual lot would meet city requirements, but collectively would barely
meet the minimum.
Joe Monno, 5773 Egg Lake Road; stated that his main concern was the drainage
and where the water would go. Vail stated that the water was designed to
run into the storm sewer and then into Egg Lake.
Richard Koercher, 5818 Egg Lake Road, asked if the houses on Lots 1 and 2
would have basements, and Vail said they would be split-levels and would not
go into the ground more than 301.
The public hearing was closed at 9:47 P14.

MISCELLANEOUS
Motion made by Greger, seconded by Hanson, to recommend to the City Council
the reappointment of Ken Lorch to the Planning Commission.
All aye. Motion Carried.
Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Lorch, to recommend Bill Greger
be made permanent Vice Chairman.
All aye. Motion Carried.
Motion made by Hanson, seconded by Lorch, to recommend that Vern Peloquin
be appointed Planning Commission Treasurer.
All aye. Motion Carried.
Motion made by Hanson, seconded by Lorch, to adjourn at 11:03 PM.
