PRESENT: Greger, Fashingbauer, Lorch, Jacobson, Peltier - Councilman Schletty ABSENT: Hanson and Knuteson Motion made by Lorch, seconded by Fashingbauer, to approve the minutes of February 10, 1982, as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. JOHN KOSTUCH - MINOR SUBDIVISION Mr. Kostuch presented a Certificate of Survey to be reviewed by the Planning Commission. Proof of ownership was also submitted, but was dated April, 1981, and should be considered outdated. Approximately 24 acres will be divided into three parcels (17 - 5 - 2). A 60' easement has been granted to the 5 acres par- cel, but was not indicated on the survey. Motion made by Greger, seconded by Fashingbauer, to recommend approval of the Minor Subdivision for John Kostuch, Jr., to divide approximately 24 acres into 17 acres, 5 acres, and 2 acres, more or less, subject to the following: 1. Receipt of the $60.00 fee. 2. Receipt of a current title opinion covering the entire parcel being divided. 3. The Certificate of Survey to indicate a private 60' easement for the benefit of the 5 acre parcel, and 4. The 2 acre parcel is to be appended to the property now used by Van -Go, be- cause this lot is non -conforming, otherwise. All aye. Motion Carried. AMERICAN LEGION POST 620 - SPECIAL USE PERMIT Jim Husnik, representative for the Legion, was present, and stated that they would like to construct a 2700 square foot addition to the present building to be used as a banquet room. A Site Plan and blueprints for the proposed addition were submitted. The Planning Commission discussed their option to hold a public hearing, and Husnik stated that he would not continue with the project if the City decided to hold a public hearing. As for drainage, Husnik stated that runoff would collect in the storm sewer previously constructed. Motion made by Greger to set a public hearing for April 14, 1982, at 7:30 PM, to consider the request of the American Legion for a Special Use Permit to con- struct a 2700 square foot addition to the present Legion building. Motion failed for lack of second. Planning Commission March 10, 1982 Rage 2 of 2 Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Fashingbauer, to recommend approve the Special Use Permit for the American Legion Post 620 to construct a 2700 square foot addi- tion to their present building. The wooden fence to be extended to the end of the 200' mark going north. VOTING FOR: Jacobson, Fashingbauer, Greger, Peltier ABSTAINED: Lorch Motion Carried. JAMES HUSNIK - SUBDIVISION Mr. Husnik is proposing the division of 3.36 acres into 5 parcels. The Planning Commission addressed tte concerns of the attorney and engineer, as phoned in to the clerk's office. Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Fashingbauer, to set a public hearing for April 14, 1982, at 7:30 PM, for the purpose of consideration of the request of James Husnik to subdivide approximately 3.36 acres into 5 parcels, and subject to the following: 1. Mr. Husnik make application for variances on Lots 2 and 3 for lot depth. 2. Driveway width for Lot 2 should be increased and indicated on the plat. All Aye. Motion Carried.
