The regular meeting was called to order bar"Fire Chairman. Potts

PRES3PIT: Fashingbauer, Schoeller, Atkinson, Potts, Hanson
ABSENT: Lorch
T'otion made by Atkinson, seconded by Potts to approve the minutes
of August 10, 1983 after the following correction; Mr. Atkinson
approves of the business but not the rezoning (motion 4, Jer Neen)
Joe Oman — 1.1ould like to rezone the narrow strip of land just
Norte existing trailer park. Current zone is CB, change to
SF3 or SFU. The expansion would allow for 28 more trailer sites.
A public hearing was scheduled for September 14, 1983 at 7:10 PY.
David Fakler - Mr. Fakler owns 1.4 acres on the corner of 165th
and Hwy 61. It was determined that actual area after allowing
easements, highway and county roar_ would leave approximately
of the 1.4 acres. Mr. Fakler will contact the clerks office
after determining the exact size.
Dick Jackson - Mr. Jackson is interested in opening a small
restaurant n the Bald Eagle Industrial Park and wanted a
general fedling from the commission.t present no one could
see any objections.
Marlowe Lindau - Mr. Lindau would like to subdivide a lot 90'
by 398' zoned SFU for construction of a single family home.
The lot would be serviced by city utilities. The commission
felt it would be appropriate to view the property before making
any decisions. T -Notion made by Atkinson, seconded by Potts to
table the matter until the September 14 meeting to,allow the
Planning Commission to inspect the surrounding area and proposed
lot. All aye. Motion carried.
Harr Shi artki - Mr. Shiparski is seeking a variance to construct
a 34. Y 261 attached garage to within 11' from the property line.
There is a city street parallel to his property. Letters from
neighbors were presented stating they had no objection to the
variance. T'otion made by Hanson, seconde by Schoeller to table
the matter until the commission has viewed the property. It
will be discussed on September 14. All aye. Motion carried.
Richard Granger - Granger would like to rezone the lot on 147th
next to the railroad tracks to construct a single family home.
It is currently zoned CB, he would like it rezoned SFU. A public
hearing was scheduled for September 14, 1983 at 6:50 PM.
.Tr. Granger also has approximately 50 acres south east of Oak
Shore Park. He would like this rezoned from RR1 to SFU. A
Tublic hearin sched led for -6:20 PIAT September 14 1983.
