There was no public `rin attendance. Tom Caruth explained his proposal to rezoneAfrom Industrial to Conservancy. Mr. Caruth was informed he would need Land Division to place his mobile home on one lot. This public hearing was closed at 7:28 PM. The Public hearing for David Fakler was called to order at 7:30 PM. Mr. Fakler arrived at 7:35 PM.and presented his idea for rezoning from SFE to CB. Fakler would like to use the prop— erty for auto sales. He would fence the property and construct a building to house the cars. Mr. Darrell Mikesell was present and stated his objection to the rezoning. Mr. Mikesell doesn't like the idea of more cars in the area and feels this would be an addition to the dismantling yard already in existance. Mr. Fakler assured him this would strictly be sales of restored autos. The regular meeting was called to order at 8:00 PM by Chairman Lorch. PRESENT: Lorch, Fashingbauer, Potts, Schoeller, Olson ABSENT: Hanson, Atkinson Motion made by Fashingbauer, seconded by Schoeller to approve the minutes of the October 12 meeting as submitted. All aye. Motion carried. Caruth rezoning — Motion made by Potts, seconded by Fashingbauer to recommend approval of the request of Ella'Caruth to rezone approximately 60 acres from Industrial to Conservancy. AYE: Schoeller, Fashingbauer, Potts, Olson, Lorch. Motion carried. David Fakler Rezoning — It was the feeling of the Commission that a business Me would be the most suitable use for the/prop— erty. Motion made by Potts, seconded by Olson to recommend ap— proval of the request of David Fakler to rezone 1.2 acres on 165th St. and Hwy 61 from SFE to CB. All aye, motion carried. Frank Arcand — Arcands would like to construct a 32 X 60 pole building or stcrage and to house a horse. The site plan shows the building would be closer to the road than the principal building. It is also larger than allowed in RR2. Motion made by Lorch, seconded by Schoeller to recommend approval of the Special Use Permit for Frank Arcand with the condition that h� provide letters from the two adjacent neighbors stating they have no objection to the location of the building prior to the City Council meeting.
