OF THE
HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION
July 12, 1978
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Larry Ehret at 8:10 PM.
PRESENT: Peloquini, Peltier, Greger, Gillen, Woeltge, McAllister, and Rhret
Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Woeltge, to approve the minutes of June 28, 1978,
after change the spelling of frontage in the previous minutes corrections.
All aye. Motion. Carried.
MARDON HOMES — SQBDIVISION
A report on the proposed subdivision, made by Howard Kuusisto, is on file. McAllister
requested that the person taking the pore tests on the 'Land sign the proposed plat
indicating where the perc tests were taken on each lot.
Ehret officially requested that the City Eagineer, Kuusisto, be present at the public
hearing to consider the request for the subdivision. The hearing to be held July 261,
19789 at 7:30 PM.
The report from Kuusisto was reviewed and Peloquin felt that the 54"culvert was too
large because there was not that m c there. Gillen stated that there was
a good chance of 160 acres minimum into the creek. Kuusisto will have to state
what oriteria he used in makistg his determination,

Ehret stated that the only thing missing for the public hearing was proof of ownershi ,.
which Mr. Tram stated would be delivered prior to the hearing.
Mr. Tram gave the Planning Commission members permission to make an on site inspection
of the property to be subdivided.
DICK GENRICH — VARIANCE
Mr. Genrich was not present at the meeting, -and did not provide the information requested.
Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Woeltgo, to table the matter until July 269 19780
for lack of information.
All aye. Motion Cartied.
CHARLES SHOAT — MVMSION
The Planning Commission discussed, at now length, the various problems that could
result the way subdivision has been submitted. The Commission suggested that Mr.
Shubat resubmit a sketch plan for the subdidsion showing definite boundaries of the
water located on the land.
Mr. Shubat told the Commission that they could proceed on the basis that they can
inspect the property. He will varify with Mr. Gustafson.

Motion made by i'hret, seconded by Peltier, that for the purposes of the city acting
on any subdivision of said property, that before the property along 132nd Street
be considered for subdividon, all legal problems to be resolved to the city's satis—
faction. Suggest to the subdivider that he bring in a proposal for the rest of the
property to be considered at this time. The problem involved on said property is the
parcel not meeting the 10 acre miniaum requirement of city, cin rently.
All aye. Motion Carried.
Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Ehret, to adjourn at 9:58 F.M.
