MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF APRIL 18, 1994 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Ga•ller <br />City Engineer, Joel Dresel <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />Brunotte <br />made motion, Miron <br />seconded, <br />to <br />approve <br />the minutes for the City <br />Council <br />meeting of April 4, <br />1994, as <br />amended. <br />All aye. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Brunotte <br />made motion, Miron <br />seconded, <br />to <br />approve <br />the minutes for the <br />special <br />City Council meeting <br />of April <br />11, <br />1994, as <br />submitted. <br />All aye. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Leroux made motion. Brunotte <br />seconded, <br />to <br />approve <br />the minutes for the <br />special <br />City Council meeting <br />of April <br />13, <br />1994, as <br />submitted. <br />All aye. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Miron made <br />motion, Brunotte <br />seconded, <br />to <br />approve <br />the claims for April 18, <br />1994, in <br />the amount of $51,971.43. <br />All aye. <br />Motion Carried. <br />OFF-SITE <br />GAMBLING PERMIT (HUGO LIONS <br />CLUB) <br />The Hugo Lions Club applied for a Minnesota Lawful Gambling Permit to <br />conduct a raffle, sell pull tabs, and conduct other lawful gambling at the <br />Hugo Park, 5524 Upper 146th Street during Good Neighbor Days, June 4, <br />1994. Staff recommended approval of the permit. <br />Stoltzman made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the off-site gambling <br />permit for the Hugo Lions Club to conduct a raffle, sell pull tabs, and <br />conduct other lawful gambling at the Hugo Park on June 4, 1994. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />LEASE AGREEMENT (HUGO LIONS CLUB) <br />The Hugo Lions Club requested to lease 48 sq. ft. of the City park, 5524 <br />Upper 146th Street for charitable gambling activities during Good Neighbor <br />Days on June 4, 1994. Activities will include a raffle and the sale of <br />pull tabs. Staff recommended approval of the lease agreement. <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the Lease Agreement for <br />the Hugo Lions Club to conduct charitable gambling at the Hugo City Park <br />during Good Neighbor Days on June 4, 1994. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
