PRESENT: Hanson, Peltier, Greger, McAllister Carl Dale also present. ABSENT:: Peloquin, Houle and Lorch 1. Discussed Otter Lake Regional Park Planning Commission Resolution. Bill Greger to provide additional information to Carl Dale for next meeting. (PELOQUIN ARRIVED AT 6:24 PM) 2. Discussed Rehbein vs. Hugo court decision. 3. Set target date in January or February to have some preliminary data ready for metro staff. (HOULE ARRIVED AT 6:29 PM and LORCH AT 6:40 PM) more 4. Discussed /...;definitive charting of lakeshore areas and conservancy on a new zoning map. 5. Ciscussed future recreation and park areas in Hugo. 6. Discussed areas in Conservancy and Agriculture subject to SAC charges, where future service is unlikely for a number of years. Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Houle, to set a Special Meeting of the Hugo Planning Commission for discussion of the Comprehensive Plan for January 23, 1980, at 6:00 PM. All aye. Motion Carried. Motion will be made at the next meeting to consider including in the Comprehensive Plan, the following: 1. Location of new or proposed expansion to Fire Hall. 2. Primary shopping location behind Interstate Lumber. 3. Incentive Zoning. 4. Overpass over Highway 61. The Special Meeting adjourned at 8:29 PM. Hugo Planning Commission December 12, 1979 Page 2 of 2 The regular meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order by Chairwoman Peltier at 8:33 PM. PRESENT: Peloquin, Hanson, Greger, Houle, Larch, McAllister and Peltier Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Hanson, to approve the minutes of November 28, 1979, after the following changes have been made: Page 1 (Ernest Hengel) - The road frontage for the two parcels is as follows: 396 feet on the west parcel and 256.75 feet on the east parcel. Mr. Hengel's proposed division lies 30' east of the garage including the grove of trees. Chapter 290-9, Subd F1 and G1 was reviewed to make these decisions. Motion - Refund $15.00 fee for the Variance because it was not required. Page 2 (Ernest Hengel) - (last motion on page) the 300' required at the building setback line, as per Certificate of Survey submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. SAFEWAY HOUSE MOVERS - AMENDED SPECIAL USE PERMIT Peloquin made motion, seconded by Larch, to recommend approval of the Amended Special Use Permit for Safeway House Movers, to move in a 30 x 60 cold storage building (Bldg. 15) as indicated on the Site Plan, excluding trailer which would be Bldg. #6. All aye. Motion Carried. McAllister made motion, seconded by Houle, that any future Amended Special Use Permits for Safeway House Movers be approved only after a complete Site Plan showing future expansion of permanent buildings be shown. Site Plan to also include future roads and fire lanes. VOTING FOR: Peloquin, Hanson, Houle, Larch, McAllister and Peltier VOTING AGAINST: Greger Motion Carried. Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Greger, to recommend the reappointment of Bill Hanson and Jim Houle to the Planning Commission. VOTING FOR: Hanson, Houle, Horch, McAllister, Greger and Peltier VOTING AGAINST: Peloquin Motion Carried. Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Larch, to adjourn at 9:16 PM. All aye. Motion Carried.
