The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stolt man at 7:00 PM.
PRESENT: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stolt man
City Administrator, Robert MUseUS
City Engineer, Howard KUusisto
Regal Plastics, Rob Olson
Purpose of this meeting was to discuss the City's road maintenance and
capital improvement policies.
The Council reviewed cost estimates for road maintenance, and discussed
information needs in order to establish priorities. Specifically, the
Council expressed an interest in obtaining traffic counts on the City
streets to determine a road -rating system, develop a management
information system, and obtain cost comparisons for conducting the City's
road maintenance.
Establishing funding sources for the City's road improvements were also
discussed, including State aid street funding, use of assessments, and
impact on the City's property tax.
It was decided that the City Administrator and City Engineer would develop
more information on these issues and report their- findings to the Council.
Barnes made motion. Ler-oUX, seconded, to adjourn the meeting at 1c):1(**) PM.
