RICHARD GENRICH — SPECIAL USE PERMIT
Mr. Genrich is acting as agent for the estate of William Schletty, and
is requesting a Special Use Permit to construct a 40' x 60' pole barn
to be used to operate, maintain, and store split wood supply. The
building would be constructed on the 105 acre parcel. The operation
would employ two part—time employees, and a log splitter, packager, and
electric chain saw would be used to package wood. It was the general
concensus that this type of use of the property would be acceptable.
It was determined that this type of operation could be allowed per
Chapter 320-4 (Subdivision C — 3b). Peloquin stated that he would like
to see more details on a site plan, and also felt that a public hearing
should be held.

JOHN MOORE - SPLITTING OF LOTS ON 145TH
Mr. Moore was not present.
Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Peloquin, to add Howard Moe to the
agenda.
All aye. Motion Carried.
Mr. Moe presented a site plan of what he would ultimately like to do
with his property. The land is zoned SFU. Mr. Moe's mainl;*W:!,* concern
was the splitting of Lot 5 to be used as a building site for his son.,
To proceed with the plan as submitted, Mr. Moe would be required to have
a Major Subdivision. Dan Koehler recommended platting because of the
Flood Plain. He suggested that a Minor Subdivision could be granted for
Lot 5 and other further subdivision would require platting. The Planning
Commission recommended that the City Clerk contact the Mayor or City
Attorney requesting an immediate opinion as to whether or not the City
Council would consider a Minor Subdivision in lots of less than 5 acres
(SFU zoning), refer to Chapter 290-9, Subdivison E and 290-9, Subdivi-
sion I.
MALLINGER. MEYERS AND PELOQUIN - LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS
Mr. Koehler took the appropriate files and will make determination of
legal descriptions for the above rezonings.
