165th St. Improvement Project

Mill existing pavement
–Approximately 7-inches of pavement
–Mill top 2-3 inches and place new pavement
Culvert replacement –Ingersoll
Minor drainage improvements
Mill/overlay cost estimate:$1,200,000
Review 165th/Ingersoll intersection
Consider roadway widening for other users
Proposed Improvements
Not currently a significant safety concern
Realignment would reduce maintenance needs
Potential wetland impacts would need to be reviewed
in detail
Bus company is comfortable with intersection in
either configuration
Intersection configuration could be completed in the
future without impacting roadway
Additional Cost:$35,000
165th/Ingersoll Intersection
Current Roadway width: 24 feet
Proposed widening to 28 feet
–3-4 foot wide should striped on one side
Would result in application of stormwater
management rules –consider credits
Added cost: $290,000
Roadway widening
Mill/overlay $1,200,000
