• Information on solar requirement through State Statute.
• Solar subscription contract.

• Save one penny per kWh subscribed to within garden
• Annual energy savings
• First year: $4,029.60
• 25th year: $3,572.86
• Degradation factor = 0.5% per year
• Total: $94,921.06
• 25 year commitment
• Geronimo's site plan for the Argo Navis solar farm has been
approved by the Planning Commission and goes to the
Scandia City Council tomorrow (May 17tH)
• Xcel has not approved this project yet

• Direction to staff:
• Should staff and the City attorney begin negotiating the
contract with Geronimo?
• Solar subscription for just the Met Council RFP lottery
results (38% of total use) OR also negotiate subscription
for another solar farm Geronimo is proposing (up to 100%
of use)?
