Program Basics
• To qualify:
• Be a Hugo resident.
• Receive a water bill from the City.
• Make all purchases in the same year in which you are
applying for the rebate.
• May not apply for replacements in a new construction
home.
• Eligible:
• WaterSense labeled toilet replacement - $100
• Energy Star clothes washing machine replacement - $150
• Irrigation system audits, WaterSense labeled irrigation
controller replacement, replacement of broken or
inefficient sprinkler heads -$200 'L

Next Steps
• Program has opened up conversations with HOAs
regarding possible future stormwater reuse
projects.
• Hope that the Met Council continues this program
and the City would apply for the grant again.
• Continue to monitor usage within the City
