• The plan is important and helpful to the City in
guiding development and growth
• The existing plan is good and has been effective in
planning for the future
• It is a great start, and staff has some ideas on how
we can make it better

• Staff recommends completing the optional work
• Economic Development Chapter
• The existing Comp Plan has an economic development
chapter
• It would be good to update the plan with the EDA and include
any competiveness information.
• Resilience Chapter
• Solar access is required
• We have included several goals and objectives in our Water
Resources Plan on conservation.
• Water Chapter (drinking water)
• Update Water flow model to evaluate additional
interconnects with adjacent communities.
