Scope of Work
Phase I: Develop a set of ranking criteria and
assessment methodology
Phase II: Apply the assessment methodology to the
RCWD and develop a prioritized list of possible project
areas. Conduct a technical review of the top ten project
areas.
Phase III: Revise assessment based on lessons learned
in the RCWD
Phase IV: Draft and submit final report to BWSR

Our
goal
is to create a process
that is fair and supports the District's mission.
• RCWD is committed to building multi-purpose
projects and we know that doing so adds cost. We
continue
to
discuss
the
District's
role
in supporting
water reuse
efforts
and
associated costs.
Urban Stormwater Remediation
Cost -Share Program
Project funding available for stormwater treatment
and/or runoff volume or peak runoff rate control
exceeding RCWD permit requirements
• In 2016, priority was given to stormwater reuse
irrigation projects for the first time.
Public
or private entities
are eligible
to receive 50%
of
the
project costs with
a maximum
of
$50,000
Proposals due at the end of each calendar year.
RCWD & Water Conservation
In addition to building water reuse projects, the
Rice Creek Watershed District:
• Participates on the DN R's newly formed later
Conservation Task. Force
• Partners with Met Cou nci I, Race 2 Reduce, and
others to support educational events in the District
• Shares water conservation information on social
media and in articles for the public
