RESOLUTION 2017 - 3 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE NORTH SUNSET LAKE AREA STREET <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to action previously passed by the City Council on December 5, 2016, <br />WSB & Associates Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the improvements for the North <br />Sunset Area Street Improvement Project, and has presented such plans and specifications to the <br />Council for approval; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file at City Hall, are hereby <br />approved. <br />2. The City Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official City newspaper <br />and the Finance and Commerce an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />improvement under such approved plans and specifications. <br />3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at least once not less <br />than three (3) weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the work to be <br />done, shall state the bids will be publicly opened on April 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Central <br />Standard Time at the Hugo City Hall in said City and that no bids will be considered <br />unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's <br />check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five (5%) percent of the <br />amount of such bid. <br />4.
