A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE NORTH SUNSET LAKE AREA STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to action previously passed by the City Council on December 5, 2016,
WSB & Associates Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the improvements for the North
Sunset Area Street Improvement Project, and has presented such plans and specifications to the
Council for approval;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file at City Hall, are hereby
approved.
2. The City Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official City newspaper
and the Finance and Commerce an advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvement under such approved plans and specifications.
3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at least once not less
than three (3) weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the work to be
done, shall state the bids will be publicly opened on April 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Central
Standard Time at the Hugo City Hall in said City and that no bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's
check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five (5%) percent of the
amount of such bid.
4. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file at City Hall, are hereby
approved.

Council members voting NAY: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 6th day of arch, 2017.
