2040 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OPEN HOUSE
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19, 2017

PRESENT: Klein, Petryk, Miron, Weidt
ABSENT: Haas
ALSO PRESENT: Landform Planner Kendra Lindahl, Landform Planner Mary Matze, City
Administrator Bryan Bear, City Clerk Michele Lindau, City Engineer Mark Erichson, Planner
Rachel Juba, Community Development Assistant Rachel Leitz, and Parks Planner Shayla
Denaway.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Mayor Weidt.
The open house was held for the purpose of providing information on the Comprehensive Plan
and soliciting comments from residents and property owners. A presentation was made by Juba
outlining the Comprehensive Plan process and what type of comments the City was looking for
from the residents. There were approximately 130 people that attended. At the open house,
existing plans for the City were showcased and followed by surveys completed focusing on
Hugo's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 9:00 pm.
