by Chairman Goiffon at 6:30PM.
PRESENT: Goiffon , Rubenzer, Brunotte, Carole LaBelle
John and Diane Rawson , 12686 Ingersoll Ave. , have requested a variance to
reconstruct a deteriorating , above-grade, deck 45 feet from the shoi---

of Sunset Lake. They have an existing deck which is 55 ft . from the
shoreline. A 100 --ft . setback is required . The Minnesota Department of
Natural Resources has stated that they "support replacing the above grade
deck with an at-grade deck , but do not support additional encroachment of
a nonconforming structure" .
Members felt that an additional 10 ft . encroachment was not too severe.
After a brief discussion the following motion was made.
Motion made by Brunotte, seconded by Rubenzer, to recommend approval of
the variance request of Diane and John Rawson , 12686 Ingersoll Ave. , to
construct a deck 45 ft. from the shoreline of Sunset Lake as per site plan
S1 .
All aye, motion passed .
