Chairman Goiffon called the meeting to order at 6:42PM.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Goiffon , Rubenzer
MEMBERS ABSENT: Brunotte
OTHERS PRESENT: Robert Museus, City Administrator
Motion made by Rubenzer, seconded by Goiffon , to approve the minutes of
the Board of Zoning Adjustments meeting held on February 22, 1995.
All aye, motion passed .
VARIANCE REQUEST - STEVE & CHRISTINE SADOWSP:'I
Steve and Christine Sadowski applied for a variance to construct a garage
on their property at 15960 Jeffrey Ave. No. Proposed garage will be
1 ,392 sq . ft. , exceeding the allowable limit of 1 ,000 sq . ft. The
property on which the garage is to be located is zoned agricultural and is
68 acres in size. The total square footage of the proposed garage
includes an upper level for the garage. Mr. & Mrs. Sadowski explained
that the purpose of their request was to allow for the storage of a snow
plow they use to maintain their 1/2 mile long driveway and their need to
store recreational equipment.
Based on the large size of the home ( in excess of 6, )00 sq . ft. ) , the
large size of the lot, and the location of the building on the property
which makes it barely visible to adjacent property owners, Rubenzer made a
motion to approve the variance as requested . Seconded by Goiffon .
All aye, motion passed .
Motion made by Rubenzer, seconded by Goiffon to adjourn at 6: 50PM.
