PRESENT: Puleo, Stoltzman Deputy Clerk,Michele Lindau ABSENT: Brunotte Puleo made motion, Stoltzman seconded,to approve the Board of Zoning Adjustments minutes of March 24, 1999, as amended. All AYES. Motion carried. Variance Request-David& LaVerna Scholz The Board of Zoning Adjustments considered the request from David&LaVerna Scholz, 12962 Keller Ave N.,for a 35' variance from the 200' required setback from the ordinary high water mark of School Section Lake. They also requested to construct a 1,500 square foot detached building for accessory storage. There is a 2,600 square foot building on the site but no garage, and since the Conservancy District ordinance allows 1,000 square feet for a detached garage and 3,600 square feet for accessory storage, they requested to incorporate the garage footage into the total allowed for accessory storage. Mr. Scholz was present and stated his intent to store his collectable tractors in the building, since his neighbor was not pleased with the exterior storage. The need for the variance was to locate the garage on a slab that already exists from an old barn, and keep the building less visible from Keller Avenue. Puleo made motion, Stoltzman seconded,to recommend approval of the variance as requested and approval of the construction of a 1,500 square foot building for accessory storage. All AYES.
