May 26, 1999
The meeting was called to order by Stoltzman at 6:31 PM.
PRESENT:Puleo, Stoltzman
Deputy Clerk, Michele Lindau
ABSENT: Brunotte
Puleo made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to approve the Board of Zoning Adjustments
minutes of April 28, 1999, as submitted.
All AYES. Motion.carried.
Variance Request (Paul and Sandy Fladeboe)
The Board of Zoning Adjustments considered the request of Paul and Sandy Fladeboe,
5829 147th St. N., for a variance of 200 sq. ft. over the 1000 sq. ft. allowed for detached
garages in the residential district. The Fladeboe's requested to construct a 420 sq. ft.
addition to the south side of the existing 780 sq. ft. detached garage. The property is
legally described as Lot 2, Block 1, Sadowki Park.
Paul Fladeboe was present at the meeting to answer questions from the Board. He
explained the additional space would be used to store his boat and snowmobiles, which he
presently stores elsewhere for a fee.
One of the issues raised was whether they would be encroaching on any wetlands, and it
was determined they would not.
Puleo made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to recommend approval of the variance as
applied for, adding the condition that the structure be used for personal use only.
All Ayes. Motion carried.
Stoltzman made motion, Puleo seconded, to adjourn at 6:40 PM.
