HUGO BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS AND ADJUSTMENTS
FEBRUARY 28,2002
Chairperson Schumann called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
PRESENT: Puleo, Schumann
ABSENT: Brunotte
ALSO PRESENT: John Rask, Community Development Director
Michele Lindau, Secretary
Minutes of October 24, 2001
Puleo made motion,Schumann seconded to approve the minutes for October 24,2001 as submitted.
All Ayes. Motion carried.
Juran Variance & Property Line Adiustment
The Board of Zoning Adjustments considered the application of Robert and Ernestine Juran to
subdivide 1.86 acres from their property at 9988 122'd Street North, which consists of 16.86 acres,
and add it to the 3.06 acres owned by their son Robert Juran,Jr.,9816 122nd Street North,to create a
4.92 acre parcel. This would require a 5.08-acre variance from 10-acre minimum lot size
requirement in the Agricultural district.
The Board found that by allowing the relocation of the common property line it would reduce the
non-conformity of one of the lots while keeping the other in compliance.
Puleo made motion, Schumann seconded to recommend approval of a variance and lot line
adjustment for 9988 and 9816 122nd Street north.
All Ayes. Motion carried.
