2040 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OPEN HOUSE
TUESDAY, AUGUST 8, 2017

PRESENT: Klein, Petryk, Miron, and Weidt
ABSENT: Haas
ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, Planner Rachel Juba, Community
Development Assistant Rachel Leitz, Parks Planner Shayla Denaway, Landform Planner Kendra
Lindahl, and Landform Planner Mary Matze
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Mayor Weidt
The open house was held for the purpose of providing information on the Comprehensive Plan as
it relates to the planning of parks and trails. The parks and trails section of the Comprehensive
Plan is starting to be drafted, and input from the public is an important piece of the plan. There
were existing and proposed maps of the parks and trail systems. Residents were asked to provide
information on what their preferences were in regards to types of park facilities, types of trails,
and other desires for parks. Attendees filled our comment sheets and provided them to City staff.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 9:00 pm.
