CITY OF HUGO
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONTRACT
FOR THE ONEKA LAKE BOULEVARD AND HARROW AVENUE
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
S.A.P. 224-104-005 / 224-122-002
WHEREAS, the City Council of Hugo previously directed the City Engineer to advertise for bids
for the above -referenced project, and
WHEREAS, bids were publicly received and opened on May 24, 2018.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota,
as follows:
1. All bids for the construction of the Oneka Lake Boulevard and Harrow Avenue Street
Improvement Project have been received and are tabulated on the attached summary.
2. The bid of North Valley, Inc., in the amount of $764,657.16, for the construction of said
improvements, is in accordance with the plans and specifications and advertisement for
bids and is the lowest responsible bid.
3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of
Hugo.
4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder and the
next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been executed.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of ,o on the 4h day of June,
2018, by a vote of five Ayes and no Nays.
