APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR SCOTT KERSTEN TO
ALLOW AN EXPANSION OF A LEGAL NON -CONFORMING INDUSTRIAL
USE ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5725 148th STREET NORTH
WHEREAS, Scott Kersten, requested approval of a conditional use permit to allow an
expansion of a legal non -conforming industrial use on the property located at 5725 1481h
Street North
(See attached Exhibit A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said conditional use permit at a duly
called public hearing on September 13, 2018, and recommends approval subject to the
conditions listed in the conditional use permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the
conditional use permit for Scott Kersten to allow an expansion of a legal non -conforming
industrial use on the property located at 5725 148th Street North with the following
findings:
1. The expansion will reduce the impacts of the legal non -conforming use
from the surrounding properties by reducing activity, traffic, and outdoor
vehicle storage.
