The Council met with the North and East Metro Groundwater Management Area Advisory Team
in the Oneka Room. Topics included a presentation from City Administrator Bryan Bear on
water management strategies; a discussion led by Jennifer Levitt, Advisory Team member from
the City of Cottage Grove, on the design/build of emergency water treatment; and an update on
GWMA plan implementation activities including the latest results from the technical analysis
using the transient groundwater flow model. The meeting concluded at approximately noon.
