Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Commission
Meeting of November 14, 2018
Hugo City Hall, 7:00 pm
Present: Dave Strub, Shawn Haag,Cathy Moore—Arcand, Nicole Schmid, Ranell Tennyson
Absent: Roger Clarke, Matt Rauschendorfer
Staff Present: Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner
Debi Close, Secretary
Strub called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm.
1. Approval of Minutes fron'i the October 17, 2018 Meeting;
Tennyson made a motion, Moore—Arcand seconded to approve the minutes of the October 17, 2018 Parks
Commission meeting.
All Aye.
Motion carried.
2. 2018 Annual Report
Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner presented the 2018 Annual Report of the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space
Commission.
The report included review of the master planning of Clearwater Creek Preserve with help from a SHIP grant,
neighborhood park projects, recreation programs of the year,trail projects, residential development projects,
addition of an alternate Commissioner position, and the replacement of the Lions Park playground.
Moore—Arcand made a motion,Tennyson seconded to approve the 2018 Annual Report as presented.

Park dedications approvals and receipt ofboth land or fees are tracked. Recent developments include: the
Preserve onSunset Lake,Adelaide Landing, 0nekaPlace, and Clearwater Cove.

Moore—Arcand made a motion,Schmid seconded to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 pm.
