A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO
AUTHORIZING THE ADOPTION OF THE CITY'S WATER RESOUCRE
MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo initiated an update to its Water Resource Management
Plan in 2015, consistent with the requirement in state law; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the Water Resource Management Plan
at a duly called Public Hearing and recommended approval to the City Council; and;
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Water Resource Management Plan on June 1,
2015, for Rice Creek Watershed District review; and;
WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District has reviewed and taken final action on
the plan on July 25, 2018, and found that the plan meets all requirements Minnesota State
Statutes 103B.235 and Minnesota Rules 8410.0160, and is consistent with, and meets all
requirements of the Rice Creek Watershed District Watershed Management Plan.
WHEREAS, after adoption the City of Hugo will implement the Water Resources
Management Plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does adopt the Water
Resource Management Plan.
WHEREUPON, a vote being taken upon the motion, the following voted in favor: Haas,
Klein, Petryk, Miron, Weidt
The following voted against: None
ADOPTED by the City Council this 4h day of Febi-ua , 2 -
