RESOLUTION NO.2019-18
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE WATER'S EDGE PHASE II WATER REUSE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has completed the Water's Edge Phase I water reuse project in
2018 and the project was well received by the Water's Edge Home Owner's Association with their
organization having interest in additional projects; and
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has procured an additional grant from Rice Creek Watershed
District in the amount of 185,760 for the Water's Edge Phase II Water Reuse Project with the City
Council approving the RCWD grant agreement at the April 1, 2019 City Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is ordering the project finding that it would be in the best interest of
the City to proceed with the preparation of plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of The City of Hugo:
1. Authorizes the Preparation of the Plans and Specifications for the Water's Edge
Phase II Water Reuse Improvement Project.
2. WSB is designated as the engineer for this improvement and directed to prepare plans
and specifications for the Water's Edge Phase II Water Reuse Improvement Project.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Hugo this 15'h day of April, 2019.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member
Klein and was duly seconded by Council Member Petryk and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof. Haas, Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt
