OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF HUGO, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Hugo, Minnesota, was held at
the Village Hall in said Village on Monday , February 6 , 1961,
at 8:00 o'clock P.M., with the following members present:
Maslowski, Letourneau, Marier, Wenzel and Burkard
and the following members absent: None
The Clerk then presented affadavits of publication of notice
of this meeting for the purpose of receiving construction bids for the
construction of a well for Waterworks Improvement No. 1960-1 in the
official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin, published in Min-
neapolis, Minnesota. Said affadavits were examined, approved and or-
dered filed and the Clerk announced that he had received 8 sealed
bids for the construction of said work which, upon being opened, were
found to be as follows:

On motion duly made, seconded and carried, said bids were
tabled for reconsideration by the Council on Tuesday, February 21 at
8:00 o'clock P.M.

I. the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk of the Village of Hugo, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that I
have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes
of a meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on the date
therein indicated with the original minutes thereof on file in my
office and that the same is a full, true and correct transcript thereof
insofar as said minutes relate to receipt of bids for construction of
the well portion of Waterworks Improvement No. 1960-1

Meeting called to order by Pres. Maslowski at 7:00pm
Roll call of officers, Emil Maslowski, James Letourneau, Walter Marier, Clarence Wenzel,
Robert Burkhand. All present.
Motion made and seconded that minutes of last regular meeting be approved as read.
Motion carried.
Motion made and seconded that report of special meeting on Jan 16, 1961 be approved
as read. Motion carried.
Motion made and seconded that the following bills be paid. Motion carried.

Motion made and seconded that Ordinance #47 pertaining to: an Ordinance providing for
Civil Defense and for protecting and promoting Public Safety, Health, and Welfare in the
Village of Hugo, Minn. during Civil Defense Emergencies, be passed. Motion carried.
Motion made and seconded that the operational survival plan for Hugo Village defense be adopted
as presented. Motion carried.
Motion made and seconded that Village Council approve recommendation of T.J. Marier
Chief, Clarence Wenzel Asst. Chief and Cedric Goiffon Asst. Chief.
Motion made and seconded that Ed Granger be granted Cig and Beverage license tot. 17.00.
Motion carried.
Motion made and seconded that Ray Lamotte be granted cigarette and beverage license Tot. 17.00
Motion carried.
Motion made and seconded that that Ordinance No 48 amending Ordinance No. 37 be passed.
Relative to liquor ordinance.
No other busines on hand. Motion was made and seconded to adjourn at 11:45pm.
