Roll call of officers: Emil Maslowski, James Letourneau, Walter Marier, Clarence Wenzel, Robert Burkhand all present. Motion made and seconded that the minutes of the last regular meeting be approved as read. Motion carried. Motion made and seconded that minutes of special meeting be approved as read. Motion carried. Motion made and seconded that the following bills be paid. Motion carried. 1279 Northern States Po. Co. 156.58 1280 Northwestern Bell Tel. Motion made and seconded that bills for J.G. Chisholm Electric ??? and E.D. Peltier for repair of fire siren with reference to fire tower damage, be paid 146.63 for Chisholm Electric and 76.50, E.D. Peltier and Insurance Co to be notified of payment by village. Motion carried. Motion made and seconded that construction bills be paid excluding Tri-State Drilling to be held back pending settlement from their Insurance Co. for Fire Tower damage. Motion carried. Eastwood & Jewell - attorneys exam specs 400.00 Erickson Plumbing & Heating 20984.46 Solokar Construction Co 425.00 Pittsburgh Des Moines Steel Co. 2908.17 Howard Kuusisto Engineer 496.35 Motion made and seconded that Village deed to Connie Crever that part of lot No. 38 Auditors Plat No. 7 Wash. Co. Minn. consisting 168 degrees 41" angle at end of Lake view Court to a point of consistently of 40 ft st to new street of proposed plat. Motion made and seconded that resignation of Richard Gessier as Civil Defence Director be accepted with regrets. Motion carried. Motion made and seconded that Council approve appointment of ?? Muller as C/D Director. Minutes of Proceedings of the Village Council of the Motion made and seconded that curfew hour be changed from 9:00pm to 9:30pm for duration of day light saving time. Motion made and seconded that Fire Siren switch on apron in front of Fire Hall be raised to height of five (5 ft) feet. Motion made and seconded that Village purchase Liability Insurance for the amount $5,000 Property Damage and 25/50,000 Bodily Injury. Motion made and seconded that Fire Insurance on the old village be paid for one year at $1600 rate. Walter Marier and Robert Burkhand appointed to Board of Equalization June 15, 1961 from 1:30 to 3:30pm. Motion made and seconded that Council table action for Wash. Co Communications regarding Community ??? Motion made and seconded that Oliver Corp be billed for $125.00 for use of Village Hall for convention. Motion made and seconded to adjourn at 12:10am.
