<br />Call to Order <br /> <br />Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Haas (via Skype), Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt <br />ABSENT: None <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Engineer Mark Erichson, City Attorney <br />Dave Snyder, Community Development Director Rachel Juba, City Clerk Michele Lindau <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes for the December 12, 2019, Holiday Party <br /> <br />Klein made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the minutes for the Holiday Party held on <br />December 12, 2019, as presented. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes for the December 16, 2019, City Council Meeting <br /> <br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve minutes for the Council meeting held on <br />December 16, 2019, as presented. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda <br /> <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Recognition of Sergeant Joe Stoehr and Introduction of Sergeant Joe Zerwas and <br />Investigator Lee Mars <br /> <br />Washington County Sheriff Dan Starry was in attendance and explained the personnel changes <br />within the department. Beginning with the retirement of Commander Cheri Dexter after 30 years <br />with the Sheriff’s Office, the promotion of her replacement created other openings in the agency. <br />One of the openings was for a countywide investigative sergeant, and Hugo Sergeant Joe Stoehr <br />was promoted to that position. Taking his place as Hugo’s sergeant is former Hugo Investigator <br />Joe Zerwas, and Hugo Deputy Lee Mars was promoted to the investigator position. <br /> <br />Mayor Weidt presented Sergeant Stoehr a Certificate of Appreciation for his dedication to <br />Hugo’s citizens and said Stoehr has been a great asset to Hugo and will continue to be in his new <br />role.
