APPROVING A COMPRHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT CHANGING TEXT
ON TABLE 4-11 EXISTING HOUSING NEEDS IMPLEMENTATION TOOLS IN
CHAPTER 4 HOUSING PLAN
WHEREAS, in order to be fully consistent with the Metropolitan Council Housing Policy
and for the City to remain eligible for Livable Communities Program Grant Funds,
Chapter 4 Housing Plan of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan needs to address all widely
known housing tools;
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has revised Table 4-11 Existing Housing Needs
Implementation Tools to add language that the City will consider opportunities with the
4d Tax Program, Preservation of Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing (NOAH), and
Preservation of Existing Manufactured Housing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve a
Comprehensive Plan Amendment changing text on Table 4-11 Table 4-11 Existing
Housing Needs Implementation Tools in Chapter 4 Housing Plan.
ADOPTED by the City Council this 16'h day of March, 2020
