Meeting held remotely pursuant to MN Statute Sec. 13D.021. ZOOM meeting ID #261 453 406
Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
PRESENT REMOTELY: Haas, Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt
ABSENT: None
ALSO PRESENT REMOTELY: Washington County Assessor Dan Squire
PRESENT AT CITY HALL: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Clerk Michele Lindau,
County Appraisal Supervisor Don Lovstad, County Assessors Rollie Huber, Kathy Pastorious
The Hugo City Council met as the Board of Appeals and Equalization to hear from property
owners for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of real estate for the year
2021. The Board considered written appeals from seven property owners, including two that
also joined the Board remotely. The Board was also presented with 15 maintenance changes
recommended by the County.
Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve adjustments to individual parcels owned by:
Pat Schoeller, Judy Schoeller, Gordon Schoeller, Kurt Fischer, Ken Charest and Alex Lemon,
and no change to properties owned by Judy Schoeller and Ryan Allshouse.
Roll call vote-all ayes. Motion carried.
Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to approve adjustments made to 15 properties, as
recommended by the Washington County Assessor.
Roll call vote-all ayes. Motion carried.
Petryk made motion, Haas seconded, to adjourn at 7:00 p.m.
Roll call vote-all ayes. Motion carried.
