Minutes <br />HUGO CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP ON <br />LIONS PARK FACILITY STUDY <br />REMOTE MEETING <br />MONDAY, JUNE 15, 2020 – 6:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting was held remotely pursuant to MN Statute Sec. 13D.021 <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Weidt called the workshop to order at 6 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL PRESENT REMOTELY: Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt, Haas (joined at 6:20 pm) <br />OTHERS PRESENT REMOTELY: Public Works Director Scott Anderson, <br />PRESENT AT CITY HALL: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Clerk Michele Lindau, Parks <br />Planner Shayla Denaway, Community Development Director Rachel Juba <br /> <br />Parks Planner Shayla Denaway provided a background on Lions Park, the Feasibility Study and <br />the Proposed Trails Plan. City Engineer Mark Erichson presented potential alignments of 147th <br />Street on the north side of Lions Park. Some of the alignments included a trail as shown in the <br />Trails Plan. The Council discussed the options and directed staff to continue looking into <br />constructing a trail on the north side of 147th Street with a future road project. <br /> <br />Klein made motion, Petryk seconded, to adjourn at approximately 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> Shayla Denaway <br />Parks Planner
