THE FULL TEXT OF THE ORDINANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION AT THE HUGO CITY HALL DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS. The City of Hugo City Council does ordain the following: Section 1. Findings. Pursuant to Minnesota Law, the City of Hugo City Code, and upon a review of a study conducted by City staff, a fee schedule for City services and licensing is hereby adopted for the following: 2021 FEE SCHEDULE Businesses Licenses Non -Business Licenses & Permits Building Permits Building Related Demolition Related Development Fees Local Government Unit (LGU) Fees Planning and Zoning Related Publications Public Works Related Roadway Reconstruction/Rehab Utility Related Rentals Miscellaneous Charges Section 2. Effective Date of Ordinance. This ordinance shall be effective on January 1, 2021. This is a summary of the adopted ordinance. Passed and adopted by the City Council ofty o Tl this 21 st day of December, 2020 �v1 ` Tom Weidt, Mayor Attest: Michele Lindau, City Clerk CITY OF HUGO ORDINANCE NO. 2020 - 502 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, AUTHORIZING ESTABLISHMENT OF FEES, RATES AND CHARGES WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of establishing a uniform system of fees for requests relating to official controls, information, permits, applications or other matters handled by the City, and; WHEREAS, the City conducted a thorough study of its fees in relation to the costs associated with administering the City Code, including the official controls. NOW, THERFORE, it is ordained by the City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, that Chapter 91 of the City Code of the City of Hugo is hereby established providing as follows: Section 91-1. The City of Hugo is authorized to impose fees, rates or charges and the same shall be enumerated in this section or elsewhere in this Code. In the event of any conflict between this section and any other provision of the Code, this section shall control. Section 91-2. Fees established pursuant hereto are found on the attachment hereto: 1. The fee shall be doubled for after -the fact permit applications. 2. The Uniform Building Code establishes a fee schedule for gradingpermits. Section 91-3. Severability. In the event that a court of competent jurisdiction adjudges any part of this Ordinance to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect any other provision of this Ordinance not specifically included within that judgment. Section 91-4. Not Exclusive. This Ordinance shall not limit or preclude any other fee, rates or charges required by this Code. Section 91-5. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after its passage and publication according to law.
