A RESOLUTION RESTRICTING PARKING ALONG 147TH STREET
FROM FOREST BOULEVARD (TH 61) TO ONEKA PARKWAY
FOR THE 2021 DOWNTOWN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
S.A.P.224-104-006
WHEREAS, the City Council of Hugo has planned improvements along 147t' Street from Forest
Boulevard (TH 61) to Oneka Parkway as part of the 2021 Downtown Street Improvement
Project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has ordered the project for the 2021 Downtown Street
Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo will be expending Municipal State Aid funds provided by the
Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) on improvements along 147t' Street; and
WHEREAS, the improvements along 147a' Street from Forest Boulevard (TH 61) to Oneka
Parkway does not provide adequate width for parking on the street; and approval of the proposed
construction as a Municipal State Aid Street project must therefore be conditioned upon certain
parking restrictions.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota,
as follows:
1. The City of Hugo shall prohibit the parking of motor vehicles along 1470, Street from
Forest Boulevard (TH 61) to Oneka Parkway.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of ugo on the 5d' day of April,
2021 b a vote of five Ayes and no Nays.
