APPROVING A SITE PLAN FOR HCM ARCHITECTS ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY OF HUGO FOR LIONS PARK LOCATED AT 5524 UPPER 146TH STREET
NORTH.
WHEREAS, HCM Architects, on behalf of the City of Hugo, has requested approval of a
site plan for construction of an approximately 5,500 square foot Lions Park pavilion and
associated park amenities located on the property that is legally described as follows:
See attached.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said site plan on April 8, 2021, and
recommends approval subject to the conditions listed in this resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the site
plan for Lions Park with the following findings:
1. A site plan is approved to allow construction of an approximately 5,500 square foot
Lions Park pavilion with the plans dated March 26, 2021.
2. Prior to installation of any signage the applicant shall apply for a sign permit that will
be reviewed and approved by staff.
3. The applicant shall obtain all necessary local, state, and federal permits.
Prior to commencement of any grading or site development work:
4. All items on the Engineer's memo and "red -line" detailed engineering comments that
have been sent directly to the applicant's engineer dated April 5, 2021, shall be
addressed.
Prior to issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy:
5. A final landscaping and lighting plan shall be reviewed and approved by staff and all
required landscaping shall be fully installed.
