RESOLUTION 2021- 34
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF COUNCIL MEMBER
CHUCK HAAS AND DECLARING A VACANCY
WHEREAS, the Hugo City Council had accepted the verbal resignation of Council
Member Chuck Haas, representing Ward 3, at their April 19, 2021, meeting.
WHEREAS, the resignation of Chuck Haas will be effective on May 31, 2021.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUGO, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS:
1. Accepts the resignation of Council Member Chuck Haas as described above.
2. Declares a vacancy of the Ward 3 seat on the Hugo City Council.
3. Approves filling the vacancy by appointment of the Hugo City Council as allowed by
State Statute 412.02, subd. 2a.
ADOPTED by the Hugo City Council this 3rd day of May, 2021.
