<br />Call to Order <br /> <br />Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL PRESENT: Klein, Miron, Petryk, Strub, Weidt <br />OTHERS PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City <br />Engineer Mark Erichson, Community Development Director Rachel Juba, City Clerk Michele <br />Lindau <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes for the September 20, 2021, City Council Meeting <br /> <br />Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting held <br />on September 20, 2021, as presented. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda <br /> <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Hugo Yellow Ribbon Update <br /> <br />Hugo Yellow Ribbon Chair Chuck Haas provided an update on Yellow Ribbon Network <br />activities held recently. He thanked the Council for their leadership and support in keeping the <br />YRN active. He shared photos of many YRN events such as Hamburger Night, Soldiers at <br />Kabul international airport, Tough Mudder volunteers who helped park cars, and General John <br />Trost and Haas on Minnesota Military Radio where Trost referred to Hugo YRN as the “gold <br />standard”. The Hall Foundation had donated $20,000 to the YRN, and there were pictures of <br />the YRN serving food at a summer picnic and at the Stillwater Armory. United Heroes League <br />sent baseball and soccer equipment and jerseys to some soldiers. The YRN helped a family <br />move, and McGough Construction had provided trucks. A Military Youth Hunt was held at <br />Wild Wings Oneka where 39 kids attended, and there were two more hunts scheduled for this <br />month. The YRN raised money working for the University of Minnesota at their concession <br />stand during games. <br /> <br />Approval of Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Klein made motion, Weidt seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br /> <br />1. Approval of Claims <br />2.
