3. Approval of Minutes
Staff recommends approval of the minutes from the January 19, 2021 EDA Meeting as
presented.
4. Oath of Office
There are three new EDA members; Mike Roberts, Neil Arcand, and John Chrun. They will take
the oath of office and introduce themselves.
5. Update on Downtown Improvement Projects
Staff will provide an update on the downtown improvement projects that are expected to take
place in the summer of 2021.

MINUTES FOR THE EDA MEETING OF JANUARY 19. 2021
Meeting held remotely pursuant Minn. Stat. Sec. 1313.021
Chair Weidt called the meeting to order at 5:33 pm.
PRESENT: Denaway, Gallivan, Klein, Petty, Puleo, Weidt.
ABSENT:
Note: Commissioner Petty was not present at role call but later joined at 5:40 pm.

Rachel Juba, Community Development Director
Emily Weber, Community Development Assistant
APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR THE EDA MEETING OF DECEMBER 15, 2020
Commissioner Klein made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Denaway, to approve the December
15, 2020 EDA meeting minutes.
Ayes: Denaway, Gallivan, Klein, Puleo, Weidt.
Nay: None. Motion carried.
APPROVE 2021 GOALS
At their last meeting, the EDA discussed the goals they would like to set and achieve in 2021. Staff
took their recommendations and presented the updated goals to the EDA. The Commissioners
discussed the goals as presented. Commissioner Klein further discussed downtown redevelopment
and would like to see the involvement of the beautification committee. The EDA generally agreed.
Commissioner Klein made a motion to approve the 2021 EDA goals as presented, seconded by
Commissioner Gallivan.
Ayes: Denaway, Gallivan, Klein, Petty, Puleo, Weidt.
Nay: None. Motion carried.
REVIEW 2020 ANNUAL REPORT
Staff presented the 2020 EDA annual report. The review highlighted the development that occurred
in 2020 and some projects to look forward to in 2021. The report also emphasizes the City's response
to the COVID-19 pandemic and the purchase agreement currently in place for the City -owned
property along Egg Lake. The EDA provided comments and edits to be made to the annual report and
staff will make the corrections.
UPDATE ON DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT
Community Development Director, Rachel Juba, provided an update on development in the City. The
purchase agreement with Denny Trooien on the City -owned property along Egg Lake has been fully
executed. Staff and Chair Weidt provided an update on the progress of Lions Park redevelopment.

Chair Weidt made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Klein, to adjourn at 5:57 pm.
Ayes: Denaway, Gallivan, Klein, Petty, Puleo, Weidt.
Nay: None.
