Mayor Weidt called the workshop to order at 5:05
PRESENT: Klein, Petryk (via ZOOM), Strub, Weidt
ABSENT: Miron
STAFF PRSENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Clerk Michele Lindau
Every ten years upon completion of the United States census, cities are required to use the census
data to confirm or reestablish ward boundaries to ensure equal representation. The Council held
this workshop to review the data which showed all three wards increased nearly the same in
population over the past ten years. Council agreed to keep the same ward boundaries and
reestablish precinct boundaries and polling locations. Staff will present a resolution to the
Council at their meeting on March 21, 2022, to approve the redistricting plan.
Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to adjourn at 5:25 p.m.
All ayes. Motion carried.
