CITY OF HUGO
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION RESTRICTING PARKING ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF
FINALE AVENUE FROM UPPER 146TH STREET TO 147TH STREET
WHEREAS, the existing roadway width on Finale Avenue between Upper 146th Street and 1471h
Street is 26 feet with parking bays along the east side of the road and does not provide adequate
width for parking on both sides of the street; and
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo staff is in agreement that Finale Avenue between Upper 146th
Street and 147t' Street should restrict parking on the west side of Finale Avenue and only allow
parking on the east side of the road only (within the existing parking bays) to allow traffic in
both directions.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota,
as follows:
1. The City of Hugo shall prohibit the parking of motor vehicles along the west side of
Finale Avenue from Upper 146th Street and 147 h Street._
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the CiofIug ono the 15' day of August,
2022, by a vote of five Ayes and no Nays. f , �`
