A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL
FOR THE 121st STREET AND ACRES OF BALD EAGLE
UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS
CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN
WHEREAS estimated costs have been calculated for the 121 st Street and Acres of Bald Eagle
Utility and Street Improvements consisting of sanitary sewer services and watermain services to
benefitting properties along 121 st Street North from Everton Avenue North to Falcon Avenue
North. Costs associated with the Acres of Bald Eagle are the responsibility of the developer and
identified by separate agreement. The estimated cost for such improvements is $113,315.64.
That portion of the project that is assessable is the sanitary sewer and watermain service
improvements with estimated costs is $113,315.64; and
NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hugo,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The portion of the cost of the roadway improvement is hereby declared to be $113,315.64;
and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to
be $113,315.64.
2. Assessments shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 10
years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January
2023 and shall bear interest at the rate of 4.25 percent per annum from the date of the
adoption of the assessment resolution.
3. The city clerk, with the assistance of the city engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper
amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or
parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by
law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection.
4. The clerk shall upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the council
thereof.

Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 15th
