RESOLUTION NO. 2023-5 <br /> A RESOLUTION RESTRICTING PARKING ALONG 159TH STREET <br /> FROM FOREST BOULEVARD (TH 61) TO WEST TO FOXHILL AVENUE AND <br /> FROM FOREST BOULEVARD (TH 61) EAST TO GOODVIEW AVENUE <br /> FOR THE TH 61 AND 159TH STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br /> STATE PROJECT NUMBER 8206-53 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of Hugo has collaboratively worked with MNDOT and The Shores <br /> of Oneka Lake development team; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has approved a development agreement outlining the development <br /> is responsible for all cost associated with the project less the local partnership program funds the <br /> City will be receiving from MNDOT; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Hugo will be expending Cooperative Agreement Funds through <br /> MNDOT's Local Partnership Program on improvements along TH 61 and 159t' Street; and <br /> WHEREAS, the improvements along 159' Street from Forest Boulevard (TH 61)west to <br /> Foxhill Avenue North and from Forest Boulevard(TH 61) east to Goodview Avenue do not <br /> provide adequate width for parking on the street; and approval of the proposed construction as <br /> part of a state project, the project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota, <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. The City of Hugo shall prohibit the parking of motor vehicles along 159t' Street from <br /> Forest Boulevard(TH 61) to west to Foxhill Avenue and from Forest Boulevard(TH 61) <br /> east to Goodview Avenue North. <br /> This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Hu n the 3"day of April, <br /> 2023,by a vote of five Ayes and no Nays. <br /> Tom Weidt, Mayor <br /> ATTEST- <br /> Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br /> (seal) <br />
