A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT AND
SETTING THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE
2024 125"' STREET AND DELLWOOD RIDGE NEIGHBORHOOD STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS,pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted July 10, 2023, a report was prepared
by WSB, with reference to the improvement of 125 h Street and the Dellwood Ridge
neighborhood. The Dellwood Ridge neighborhood includes Upper Heather Avenue North and
Heather Avenue North.
WHEREAS,the following improvements are proposed:
• Complete road reconstruction for Upper Heather Avenue North and Heather Avenue
North
• Roadway reclamation and overlay on 1256' Street North
and to assess benefited properties for all or a portion of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 429; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised by the City Engineer that said street
improvements are feasible, and should best be made as proposed, and the City Engineer's report
to this effect has heretofore been received by Council, and filed with the City Clerk on October
16, 2023; and
WHEREAS,the City Council deemed it necessary and expedient that the City of Hugo,
Minnesota, construct certain improvements,to-wit: 2024 125t' Street and Dellwood Ridge
Neighborhood Street Improvement Project, in the City as described in and in accordance with the
feasibility report prepared by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS,the statute provided that no such improvements shall be made until the Council has
held a public hearing on such improvements following mailed notice and publication thereof in
the official newspaper stating time and place of the hearing, the general nature of the
improvement, the estimated costs thereof, and the area proposed to be assessed, in accordance
with the law; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Hugo that the
public hearing be scheduled to consider 2024 125th Street and Dellwood Ridge Neighborhood
Street Improvement Project,to be held on Friday, November 20, 2023, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. or as
soon thereafter as possible, at Hugo City Hall, 14669 Fitzgerald Avenue North.

This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Hugo on the 16a'day of October
2023,by a vote of four Ayes and no Nays.
