MINUTES <br />City Council Meeting <br />City Hall Council Chambers <br />Monday, May 1, 2023 <br />7:00 p.m. <br />Call to Order <br />Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Roll Call <br />COUNCIL PRESENT: Klein, Petryk, Miron, Strub, Weidt <br />COUNCIL ABSENT: None <br />OTHERS PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Engineer Mark Erichson, City <br />Attorney Dave Snyder, Community Development Director Rachel Juba, City Clerk Michele <br />Lindau <br />Moment of Silence for Sergeant Joe Bergeron <br />Sergeant Joe Bergeron was killed in the line of duty on May 1, 2010. Joe worked for the <br />Maplewood Police Department and was a Hugo resident. Mayor Weidt called for a moment of <br />silence to remember Sergeant Joe Bergeron on the anniversary of his death. <br />Approve Minutes for the April 17, 2023, City Council Meeting <br />Klein made motion, Strub seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting held on <br />April 17, 2023, as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approve Minutes for the April 17, 2023, City Council Executive Session <br />Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council Executive Session <br />held on April 17, 2023, as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approve Minutes for the April 19, 2023 Metro Cities Annual Meeting <br />Strub made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the minutes for the Metro Cities Annual Meeting <br />held on April 19, 2023, as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of Agenda <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the agenda as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried.
