APPROVING AN ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT TO ALLOW
FREESTANDING SIGNS WITHIN THE RIGHT OF WAY ON FENWAY
BOULEVARD NORTH
WHEREAS, Schwieters Properties requests approval of an encroachment agreement to
allow freestanding signs within the public right of way, legally described as follows;

WHEREAS, the City Council has fully considered the request for the encroachment
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUGO,MINNESOTA,that it should and hereby does approve the encroachment
agreement for Schwieters Properties with the following findings and conditions:
1. A sign permit shall be issued by the City for the signs.
2. City staff shall approve locations prior to installation of the signs.
3. The applicant shall receive approval from the Metropolitan Council for placement
of the signs prior to the installation of the signs.
