RESOLUTION NO. 2025-1 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br /> AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> 2025 BEAVER PONDS AREA STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to direction by the Council, WSB has prepared plans and specifications <br /> for the 2025 Beaver Ponds Area Street Improvement Project and has presented such plans and <br /> specifications to the Council for approval; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO: <br /> I. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file at City Hall, are hereby <br /> approved. <br /> 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official City newspaper and <br /> the Finance and Commerce an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br /> improvement under such approved plans and specifications. <br /> 3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at least once not less <br /> than three(3) weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the work to be <br /> done, and shall state that bids will be received on-line through QuestCDN vBidTM until <br /> the date and time set for opening bids. Immediately following expiration of the time for <br /> receiving bids,representatives of the City of Hugo will publicly view at an online bid <br /> opening meeting. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of <br /> the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. <br /> No bids will be considered unless accompanied by a bid security in an amount of 5 <br /> percent of the bidder's maximum bid price. <br /> This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of H=onFeb <br /> 2025, by a vote of five Ayes and no Nays. <br /> Tom Weidt, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
